After my last Singapore with my sisters, I told Jo that maybe we should go together during CNY since both of Jo’s parents will be travelling abroad during CNY. Then coincidentally our fren Meng Fai will be driving down to SG to meet up with Khei Sheen for 4 days, so we asked to tag along!! Hahahah
We drove down to SG together with Meng Fai at around 10 or 11 pm, I cant remember because it happened 2 months ago =___________= I was the only girl in the car so obviously I dont have to drive la! I downloaded 3 episodes of RM and watched all the way from KL to SG hahha, super awesome roadtrip!
We reached SG at around midnight and then we headed straight to Chinatown for supper! Meng Fai brought us to this hawker stall that sells yummy frog porridge! I normally wont eat meat besides chicken, pork, beef and fish, but the boys forced me to try frog legs. I did but I dont really like it because of the texture but the porridge itself is yummy!
Then next morning, Khei Sheen brought us to “Riders Cafe” to have brunch.
I’m a huge fan of brunch, as long as there is eggs and toast I’m ok with it!
The lovely couple aka our travel couple hahaha.
The next stop was Haji Lane, but we got there too early so most of the shops were still closed ==” This street is full of interesting fashion boutiques and brands, and not to mention lots of cute art along the shop units!
Awfully chocolate ice cream to satisfy our sweet tooth! I’m not very into chocolate ice cream but this is super yummy!! It’s not too sweet yet super rich! I’ll be heading to SG again in JUNE, this is one of my must eat things when I’m there!
I called this place Avatar’s second hometown! It’s such a beautiful place/garden, SG is a really clean and organized country!
Garden by the Bay is super pretty and clean, and if you love flowers, trees or the outdoors you should really pay a visit there. We decided to be adventurous so we went up to the suspension bridge. It was so scary, the wind was blowing and the bride swung left and right with the wind. The worse thing was that the floor or the bridge was made of mesh, it was see through so you can basically see everything beneath you ==” super horrifying.
After a short walk around the gardens, we headed towards the famous Marina Bay hotel and shopping mall to take a look.
For dinner, we had yummy XO fish head noodles, cripsy fried chicken and etc… Super awesome because Im a big fan of fish head noodles and fried chicken!!!
Then we headed to Robertson Quay for tea as it was near to Khei Sheen’s place…
One thing I dont like about SG is they parking system == I always poke the wrong dates or times and there goes the ticket…
Wild Honey for brunch the next day while Khei Sheen was at work hahaha. I personally love their brioche bread because of the soft and crispy texture. Their brunch is worth trying but it’s quite expensive ><
Since there is no pic of me, here u go! Cam whored a little while waiting for the guys.
Waw!!! I drooled just looking at these!! Y am I doing this at 11pm after my workout session!!! We went to the food court at Old Changi Road for dinner and it was awesome!!! My super fav was the beancurd custard! I always refuse to eat to hua because of the soft texture but that day I had 2 bowls ok!!! It’s not anything like normal to hua!!
Group self shot!!! Super pro a me….
We had curry rice also but I’m not a big fans== I dont like sauce in my rice, I prefer white rice only… Jo loved this so much though
Then I met Charlie and frens….
Went to try Four Fingers Korean style fried chicken for the first time and ever since then, I cannot stop thinking about it….
The biggest bouquet I have ever seen and it blocked half of the mirror, I had a hard time looking at my myself ==” WHY YOU PUT SUCH A BIG ASS BOUQUET IN THE LADIES????????? WE NEED THE MIRROR MORE THAN FLOWERS!!!
Had a little high tea session at PS Cafe before we headed back to Malaysia. I had the most delicious chocolate banana cake and honey lemon ever!!!!
I will be heading back to SG again in June with my girls! The main purpose of this trip is to go to Universal Studios Singapore, and I seriously cant wait till it’s June. It will be my first girl’s trip and I’m sure it will be super fun!!!
Till then…
