Halo everyone! First of all, I have to apologize for the lack of updates lately. I’ve been really busy lately ’cause we had lots of work in preparing for CNY, and as soon as we were done with the first few days, we had to fly off to meet my family in Bangkok! I probably won’t blog about that trip, so if you’d like to see what we did there, check out my Dayre feed (@bobostephanie).
I really start to feel my new “aunty” status during CNY, sigh, all the cleaning, prepping, praying, entertaining, and then cleaning, and then especially cleaning. Can tell that I hated all the cleaning edi? LOL.
Anyway, back to the topic. We spent the last 3 days of our Japan trip in Osaka. We took the shinkansen and by the time we reached, the sun was setting. Jo kept rushing me out of the hotel as he wanted to capture the light at this twilight hour. We took so many pictures and I couldn’t decide which ones to leave out, FML, so put them all in! Hehehe.
The next day we had an exhibition so we basically just strolled around Dotonburi which was right behind our hotel.
The view from our hotel room. It was pretty warm in Osaka compared to Tokyo, perfect for a evening stroll!
These are pictures leading from the main street where our hotel was located, over to Dotonburi. Just cannot replicate the feel of Japan!
I was quite disappointed that the Glico man wasn’t lit up but what the heck la, got a lot of other lights to compensate hehe.
Off shoulder top- ASOS Denim pinafore dress- blaqmagiklvrs Heels- Jeffrey Campbell Bag- Chanel Sweater- H&MAt this point we were really hungry and were hunting for something good to eat. Ended up being quite disappointed ’cause almost all of the restaurants in this area is catered to tourists.
One upside, however, was that it was snow crab season! Look at all the cute Hello Kitty snow crab merchandise that Jo DIDN’T let me buy… We eventually compromised on one magnet hahaha.
Never realized that there were so many mainland Chinese tourists in Osaka, and one point we got quite irritated haha.
Super sweet grilled crab leg! Really a must try when you’re here!
Finally lit up! Hahaha. Feel cheated coming here without the Glico man!!!
More cosmetics and eyelashes anyone? Hahaha. I bought so much eyelashes in this trip to overcome my insecurities of not having enough eyelashes when I go home.
Jo and I weren’t really full after dinner so stopped by to try this gyoza restaurant. It was packed inside so we ate outside. Hot and fulfilling gyoza during a cold night, really super satisfying!!! Plus, I think they were selling for 100yen for 6 pieces!!! If I was a homeless person I might eat here everyday, LOL.
Anyway we were quite tired and had to wake up early the next day, so we headed back to the room and watched a bit of Dad, where are you going!! If I find more pictures in my desktop or phone, I’ll probably do a second installment, so stay tuned!

Some of you should know that I’m quite active on Dayre, especially whenever I’m traveling! This is mainly because I have gold fish memory, and I tend to forget little details quickly during my trip, so I try to make sure that my phone is 24/7 on data roaming when I’m overseas, so I can share my experiences instantly! What were you saying? It’s too expensive to turn on data roaming? Well, it may have been previously, but not anymore! With Maxis Data Roam pass, it’s only RM38/day, flat rate in 106 countries! This is how I will be constantly connected, and sharing and updating my travel experiences with everyone!
