Hey everyone! I totally forgot that I didn’t blog about my recent trip to Bangkok, but it was just a short weekend trip, and Jo & I just went to have some good food and chill, so nothing exciting to share. However, this time we decided not to stay in a hotel or boutique hotel and try out a totally new experience!

We stayed at Adelphi49 in the hip neighbourhood of Thonglor. This is a serviced apartment where I can totally imagine myself staying long-term as it was super cozy, and not to mention fully equipped! The location is also super convenient as it’s just a 5-10 minute walk to Thonglor BTS or they even have a shuttle to drop you there!

There are lots of really cool cafes, restaurants, bars and even clubs in Thonglor. We had brunch in Roast at The Commons and that was just a 5 minute Grab/Uber ride away.

The rooms have a fully equipped kitchen with appliances, frying pans, utensils, silverware and even a small dining area. There are also 4 large closets, a safe, iron & board, and even a washer/dryer in the room. There is also a large living room with a couch and TV, the bedroom is spacious, and the huge bed is super comfy too!

The bathroom has separate tub/shower and there’s even a Japanese style bidet to cater for all the Japanese that stay in the area! Heated toilet seats are the best invention ever, no?!!!

There is a sky pool and gym which we used in the mornings!

There is even a buffet breakfast every morning that is included.

What more could you ask for? I wouldn’t know! Anyway, we had such a good time chilling in the room that for one of our dinner, we decided to order from UberEats and just have dinner in our room instead. It was the best decision ’cause we didn’t want to get stuck in the evening rush hour traffic!
