Halo, I have been MIA for quite a while now hahaha, I know…!
Well here I am, writing this super outdated post, my Singapore post!
Yup, I went to Singapore for a day last month to attend a safety product exhibition. It has been more than 10 yrs since I’ve last stepped into Singapore! I’m so surprised at how much it has changed! It’s so clean and convenient!
My sisters and Dudu tagged along since they had nothing to do at home too.
We took the earliest flight from M’sia to Singapore, then we took the latest flight from SG back to M’sia.
At first I was like, “Dont know if I have enough time to shop or not”, but in fact we had plenty of time and we had no more energy to walk around after 7 hours of walking non stop ==”
My outfit for the day, a formal business attire!
Everybody look into the mirror, ah, 1,2,3 snap!
Walking along Orchard Road….
My sister’s friend strongly recommended us to try out the breakfast here in Wild Honey, so we did!
Using an Ipad as their menu.
I had Basque-scrambled eggs, Spanish serrano ham & their signature brioche. Their bread is seriously something to die for! It’s crispy, soft and moist!
Gin’s Tunisian-sizzling pan of spicy shakshouka with 2 fried eggs, salad and their brioche!
Jie jie’s English breakfast, I dont think we need any description la. Everyone knows what’s in it.
Dudu’s Canadian breakfast; pancakes, ham and blueberry jam!
To prove that we were there to work =)
Went into H&M and bought a new top and new flats because I can no longer walk in my high heels! I regret that I didnt bring extra clothes to change after the exhibition!
Dudu did some research and found that this is a MUST eat thing in SG! It tastes pretty good too!
Take picture with it is a must also, I guess?
We conquered the ice cream motorbike!
The manhole also … haha
Bought this crispy potato chips stick, loving it!
Bought this very cute Hello Kitty hair tie =)
Ignore my ugly fingers but pay full attention to this ring that I found!!!
Then we headed to Bugis Square!!! One good thingabout SG is that most of the taxi drivers are Chinese and it’s pretty cheap to travel around SG by taxi!!
After a while of walking around, Gin suddenly sat on the floor and refused to walk anymore.
We were walking around looking for Hainanese chicken rice but failed ==
Then we had no choice so we headed to the food court in the shopping mall to look for Hainanese chicken rice!
Look at the amount of food that we ordered at the food court! It was around $50 but still, it tasted good la
They say we look more like a twins!
We left town and headed to the airport super early because we wanted to rest! We walked more than 8 hours straight edi!! We regretted having booked the latest flight, but anyhow I didnt get to shop much in SG because I personally think it’s pretty expensive there due to the conversion rate =(
Dudu suggested that we should take a group picture to show that we have been to SG with all the lovely flowers hahahah
Overall my experience was ok but it was really tiring! I will never ever go for a day trip to other country anymore!
Stay tuned for my Beijing post!!!
