I have a confession to make, although our wedding ceremony was held 4 months ago, I’m still very much in love with my wedding gown.
I still cant stop myself from looking at it, either in pictures or the dress itself. I was telling myself how lucky I was to be able to find the one gown that I have been dreaming for.
I wanted it to be simple yet elegant. Most of the gowns that I saw in the bridal shops are either too complicated (with a lot of beads, fake crystals or sequins) or were too plain (zero details ==” ).
When I was young I always day dreamed about how my wedding gown would look like. I’ve always thought about a heart shape cut and of cox a long train… This is how brides are supposed to look like, like a princess I would say hahaha. Time passes and we grow up, some people might have changed their mind on the design of their wedding but I didnt.
So when I was hunting for my gown I still picked the same cut hahaha. As expected I couldn’t find one in Malaysia but I found it in Taiwan.
Big thank you to Dudu who found it for me when I was busy looking at other gowns.
She came to me with the gown and shouted, “Bobo, R u looking for something like this?” The moment I saw it I knew it’s the one!
Princess gown, heart shaped cut with beaded details around the waist… Simple yet elegent
The back of the gown…
A heart shaped cut tends to make u look slimmer, and to those who dont have big boobs like me ==’ it’s better to stick with this cut because it gives the illusion…
Princess cut makes me look like a Disney princess.
Not to forget the train of my gown is pretty long too!!!
A pair of long silk gloves with matching veil and also a petticoat come together with the gown too!
I like my veil too because it’s pretty long and it matches my gown so well!!
Omg, I still cant get over the fact that I only wore it for less than a day =( I only wore it for my ROM and the grand march in for my wedding banquet.
It’s now sitting in my closet and will never be worn by me again, such a waste….
It took me a long time but I might have decided to let it go to a new owner that will appreciate/love her like I do instead of letting it sit in my closet forever…
I’m planning to selling it away so if you’re interested, please email me at [email protected]
Last but not least, I hope all future brides will be able to find “THE” dress for their big day!
♥
