Ooo not sure if I have told everyone about my white gown, well, I have finally found it after searching high and low in all bridal shops in KL.
I went to Taiwan during CNY and yes, I bought my gown there in Taipei.
It’s way cheaper than what I expected and believe it or not it looks exactly like the one I saw online!
At first I wanted to tailormake my white gown but the bridal shop that I went to quoted me RM6k plus for a simple gown without any details ok ==”
WTF, 6k le!!! (Yes, that was my reaction when she told me it going to cost me 6k) I still dont think I will spend that much on gowns because Im just wearing it once!
Sorry a, I’ve been told that Im not allowed to post up any pictures of my gown till my wedding day.
Even Jo cant look at my gown but he did ==” Because I just couldn’t decide whether if I should buy or not so I took a picture and showed it to Jo.
He said yes then I paid.
I feel so relieved after buying the gown because I don’t have to worry about not being able to find a perfect gown anymore!
Ok, done with that then.
Now back to some other stuff- the wedding shoot.
I will be taking our first local pre wedding shoot next Tuesday. So, last week we went to the bridal shop to choose my gowns for the outdoor shoot and also the indoor one.
Thank god that they allowed us to take a few pictures (because we paid edi ma ==”)
I invited 2 of my bridesmaids, bff and Shirley!
After trying on more than 10 gowns I decided to wear a princess gown for our indoor shoot. This gown easily weighed more than a kid man, it’s freaking heavy.
I think I’m in love with this style of gowns, hahaha I tried on a few different cuts such as mermaid, A and laces. They all make me look either fat, big assed or short.
Princess gowns are just perfect!
Our outdoor shoot will be in Sepang… Im not an outdoorsy person but since we will be taking another pre wedding shoot in Japan (city) so we thought maybe we should do one at the beach. Hahaha, the closest beach we can think of is Sepang…. ==”
After that, we went to Publika with Bff and her sweet bf for lunch
Tried their Hokkien Mee and I still think the one in my hometown tastes better~
Chatime for dessert hahahahhaha
Bff and I with our Chatime!!!!
OOO yea! Forgot to update you guys on my wedding dates!
The fortune teller came back to us with more than 5 dates and we decided to do it on the 20th of October, 2012!
Due to the dragon year most of the ballrooms are fully booked from September – December.
Luckily the ballroom that we wanted (Empire Hotel) is available on the 27th of October!
It’s just perfect because that way we can have our ROM on the same day as our wedding day!!
So, to summarize the whole thing.
My wedding day & ROM will be on the 20th October and banquet will be on the 27th October.
Which means we have 7 months to go!!!
Plenty of time to look for a makeup artist and some other stuff.
By the way, I will be making our “Story of Us” slide show to be played during the banquet!
So Im currently gathering all the pictures that we took and also looking for some suitable songs.
Well, thats pretty much it for my wedding perparations.
Till then…
hehehehehehe
